I am a 4th-year Chemistry PhD student at the University of Manchester with the desire to help you achieve your goals in GCSE Mathematics and Chemistry. I worked as a laboratory teaching assistant for more than two years at the university. Moreover, I have supervised two Masters students to succeed in their final year project. Furthermore, I also co-supervised a sixth form student for her summer research project. I provide honest feedback to my students and help them develop independent research and learning skills. It is significant to me to inspire the next generation into science.

I achieved A* in Maths, Chemistry and Biology in my A-level equivalent exam. I`m good at identifying students difficulties in their studying and able to develop tailor lessons for them. I can help students to build a solid foundation on the subject to understand it thoroughly. So that students can approach the question more efficiently.

As a PhD student, I`m also able to give you an overview of the life being a researcher in academia if the student interest in studying science in the future. Moreover, I can mentor students for their future development, such as how to adapt to new university life; how to choose the right subject, university and the career path after graduation. What`s more, I used to work as a sales representative in the luxury department store. Therefore, I possess strong communication skills and have the ability to maintain long-term customer relationships.

Last but not least, as a native speaker of Mandarin, I`m also able to give tuition on Chineses (Mandarin) learning. I used to work as a translator for culture communication between UK and China. Students can practice speaking, listening and writing with me. Furthermore, getting to know more about Chinese culture, making the language learning funnier.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I`m currently only available for online tuition. Online tuition makes every student no matter where they live can receive my service. I`m looking forward to starting working with you!
