I have a Ph.D. in chemistry and I have taught students of all abilities in the UK and overseas at: GCSE, GCE/A-Level, B.Sc. and M.Sc. level.

I provide all students with a printed & bound copy of their A-Level specification. I have electronic copies of AS and A2 exams going back to 2001, which are available on a USB memory stick on request.

I am well liked by my students, and I am trusted by colleagues and parents.

Availability: Just about any time, except Saturday mornings.

In this time of Covid-19, I am able to offer tutor sessions using Zoom or Microsoft Teams. (To use MS Teams, you must have a paid for account.)

Experience: I have an expert knowledge of the current GCE A-Level chemistry specifications, having taught/tutored numerous AQA, OCR & Edexcel students since 2004.

For several years I worked as an A-Level assessor (examiner) and so have a full understanding of the requirements of, and level expected in, public examinations.

I have prepared curriculum material, set and marked university level exams in chemistry. I often present research findings at international conferences.
