Hameedah

Hello! I`m Hameedah. I`m currently an undergraduate psychology student at the University of Sussex. I have been tutoring for 4 years and I love working with students to help them discover their full potential. I have worked with kids from various backgrounds and age groups, generally from primary level to GCSE standard.
My goal is to establish a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable to express their thoughts and ask questions and participate actively in their own education. I tailor my teaching methods to each students unique style of learning.
I specialise in tutoring Maths at GCSE standard and any other subjects from primary standard onwards.
Over the years, I`ve worked with students from a variety of ages and it has been extremely rewarding seeing their growth and achievements.

Availability: My schedule is flexible and I can accomodate for both in-person and online sessions.

Experience: I have worked with multiple students in personal tutoring from primary school standard to GCSE standard achieving satisfactory grades. I assist my students in their studies, helping them with homework, setting them homework when needed. In this way, I can identify knowledge gaps and use helpful resources to help them answer exam questions and implementing effective techniques to help them overcome these challenges. I have also worked with children with learning difficulties at primary level and used specialised styles of teaching and resources to facilitate their learning. I offer personalised support to students and tailor my teaching approach to their individual learning styles and provide regular feedback on their progress highlighting areas on improvement and acknowledging achievements to enhance motivation so they stay on track.
