Information about Ciara

Originally from Ireland, I have been teaching in a `good with outstanding elements` secondary school in Kent for the past three years. I aim to provide quick, effective interventions in English, especially for GCSEs to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

Availability: Flexible at weekends.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: I am currently teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 English and Film Studies. I am teaching the new Edexcel GCSE course to Year 10 students and Year 11 students in both language and literature. I am also a co-ordinator for a literacy programme for key stage 3. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from University College Dublin and a PGCE from University College Cork. I have previously tutored in Ireland for two years previous to making the move to London.

My daughter is studying GCSE English with Ciara..She is so thorough and knows the 9-1 system very well. She has a lively and accomodatung personality which acts as a motivational factor for a student. We recommend her to all prospective student without any hesitation.
