I am a Chemistry BSc (Hons) undergraduate student, formerly at the University of Manchester, where I undertook an optional and challenging Mathematics module. I have now completed my first year of my undergraduate degree at Teesside University, due to personal circumstances, achieving 83% overall.


I achieved AAB in Chemistry, Maths and Physics respectively at college.

As I have a strong passion for all the Sciences I like to share this with others through tutoring allowing me to convey challenging problems in a simple, exciting way. If a subject is enjoyed it is easier to excel in it as it is interesting and brings about a thirst for knowledge, this is why I bring 100% to every tutoring session.

Availability: My standard availability is shown below, if another time is required just let me know and I will do my best to arrange this!

Monday - 6.30pm onwards

Wednesday- 5pm onwards

Experience: I have tutored both GCSE and AS- level students during my time at college- all students were of different ability.
I tutored GCSE level students in Chemistry, Physics and Biology as part of my Duke of Edinburgh award for around 6 months.
As part of my role as a `Not just for Boys` campaign ambassador for the Department for Work and Pensions I tutored AS-level students mainly in Chemistry and Maths. This lasted for approximately a year.
I will spend the first session figuring out the student`s weaknesses and strengths to create a plan of study for our future lessons to achieve the optimum results.
If the student does not have any specific questions we will follow the study plan for most of the session, leaving time to tackle some high-end challenging problems to consolidate their knowledge at the end of the session.
Although I think this is the best way to learn, I am flexible in allowing the student to tailor the session in a style for their needs to achieve the best results.
