I am a friendly and positive person who strives to unlock the potential in all children. I am a very experienced KS2 teacher and have been tutoring for many years in West Kent.

I am a dedicated teacher who believes in spending time with pupils to help them understand and make progress in the subjects they are learning.

I am able to connect with pupils through my friendly and personable nature. I really enjoy teaching children and will provide the best possible education for them.

Availability: Every evening after school starting at 3.30 until early evening and Saturday mornings.

I am also available during the day for home schooling and have experience of home schooling. If you are local to me I will travel to your home, otherwise I offer sessions at my home.

Experience: I am a qualified Primary school teacher and have worked in both key stages and all Key Stage 2 year group classes. I have experience of the 7+ exams and offer one to one 7+ tuition.

I have many years experience of teaching children in upper key stage 2 particularly in how to prepare for and pass the 11+ and also to improve their scores. I am able to assess your child for their suitability for the 11+, I assess their maths, English, verbal and non verbal reasoning converting their raw score into a standardised one like the 11+

I currently have a 90% success rate in the new 11+ tests, but more importantly my predictions of your child`s outcome is sound. I run mock 11+ exams, where your child can practice in small groups using the new style exam papers.

If the 11 plus route is not for your child, I am also able to provide tuition and preparation for the common entrance exams. I also have experience of the 13+. I have helped children with both entrance exams and to gain scholarships to Roedean, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Cranbrook, Benenden, Beechwood, Radnor, Caterham, Lancing, Halliberry, Bethany, Mayfield & Hurstpierpoint Schools.

I ensure that all children achieve their full potential by improving their confidence in maths or English.

I also have plenty of experience of SATS testing and raising children`s National Curriculum levels. On a national level I am also a external marker of Year 6 SATS tests, marking levels 3-5 and level 6 papers.

I have experience of home schooling and can provide an individual timetable covering all curriculum areas.
