Dear parents/carers,

I am an experienced primary teacher (including SEN experience). I am currently completing a qualification specialising in literacy acquisition, and supporting learners with dyslexia.

Previously, I was a leading maths and I can support learners in understanding mathematical concepts and procures using the National Curriculum and effective resources (worksheets, videos, counting blocks etc.).

All children develop at different rates and sometimes children benefit massively from specialist/additional focused support to keep up with the pace of learning in school. I have seen first hand the impact a good tutor can have in developing a child’s skills, attitude to learning, attention and listening and their self confidence.

I am familiar with the National curriculum and have access to lots of resources. This helps me to deliver helpful and fun sessions for the children that I tutor. I tailor each session to the needs of the pupil.
