I am a recent Psychology graduate from Queen Mary University with a strong academic background in essay-based subjects, having studied A-level Psychology, English Literature, and Religious Education. My experience in these disciplines has honed my analytical and writing skills, making me well-equipped to support students in their academic journey.

As a tutor, I bring a patient and approachable attitude, drawing from my own recent experience navigating the secondary and sixth form education system. I understand the challenges students face, and I’m committed to mentoring them in a way that helps them achieve their goals, as I was in their shoes not long ago. There’s nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing a student grow in knowledge and confidence through guidance and support.

I offer tutoring in English, Psychology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Ethics, from primary school through to A-level, including working with children with special needs. Each session is tailored to the individual needs and preferred learning style of the student, ensuring they receive personalized and effective support. With my tutoring experience throughout university, combined with my passion and dedication, I am confident in my ability to help students excel academically.

Experience: I have extensive experience tutoring a range of students, from primary school to GCSE and A-level, in English, Psychology, and Religious Studies. In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I’ve volunteered at multiple schools, which has greatly enhanced my teaching skills. During my time at one of these schools, I worked closely with children with special needs, supporting them with writing, listening, and speaking tasks to help them reach higher academic levels.

Furthermore, I have worked as an SEN teaching assistant, where I provided both individual and group support, including working with non-verbal students. This role allowed me to gain valuable experience in adapting my teaching approach to meet diverse learning needs. Being able to work across different schools and develop strong relationships with students has been incredibly rewarding and has significantly contributed to my growth as an educator.
