Information about Frida

When I studied at Columbia university for my PhD, my professors always categorized themselves in to two camps a mathematician with a passion for education or an educationist with a passion for mathematics. I would say I am an educationist with a major passion for mathematics.

I believe that an enthusiastic, passionate and talented teacher, or tutor, can change people’s life. In my years as a mathematics teacher I always sought to create fun, exciting, educational and, most importantly, memorable mathematics lessons. Where some of my colleagues aimed to lead a department and progress towards a leadership role, my aspiration was always to be an outstanding teacher. Someone my students would be exited about seeing and learning from every day. Both my department head and the senior leadership team have rated me excellent/outstanding in the last few years. I was also given an outstanding rating by OFSTED on both occasions my lessons were observed and an outstanding as an annual rating in my job as tutor for engineering students at university.

At the moment, I am working for a private school in Surrey, delivering lessons from year 1 up to L6. I would be happy to provide help with GCSE, IGCSE, GCSE stats, C1, C2 or M1.
