Hello! My name is Holly and I am a GCSE and A-Level Psychology teacher and tutor!🥳;;;

I have been teaching since September 2021 and have taught AQA, OCR and Edexcel psychology, so have the knowledge, experience and resources to help you study with either of these exam boards!

I am really excited to have the time to take on some more students for the upcoming academic year and would love to hear from you about your own journey in studying psychology so far, your needs and your preferences. I hope to inspire you to love the subject as much as I do!

How I usually work is by having my students let me know, (preferably 24 hours in advance), what they would like me to cover in their next lesson. This could be a particular focus, i.e. on statistical tests, or it could be a broader area, such as research methods in general. This allows me to use the time that we have as efficiently as possible, and to create questions/worksheets for you prior to our sessions. I am also more than happy to mark work for you, go through exam technique, assess your current grades...anything that you need, don`t hesitate to ask! These will be your lessons, so you are the boss!😎;;;;;;

Finally, I had a tutor myself when I was at school for maths because... I just “didn’t get it!". I know how you feel... but trust me, you will get it... and it will feel so good when you do! Learning is something that you can’t ever regret, and boy does it feel amazing when you see yourself smash it!🥳;;;;;;

Experience: BSc in Psychology, Counselling and Therapies and a PGCE with QTS in teaching psychology.
