Information about Joanna
I have been teaching in primary school for six years. Before this I worked in retail as an analyst.
I decided I wanted to give something back and lead a more fulfilled career. I absolutely love working with children. I currently work as a Year 5 primary teacher and have experience of 121 tuition, specifically focused on kent test style questioning; application and practice.
Availability: I can teach online or travel locally to your house for in person any evening after 530pm and some weekends. I can also take on groups of children or 121.

Experience: I am currently a Year 5 teacher and have been in this year group for 4 years. I also have experience teaching in all primary school years.
I have a kind nature but can also be serious and fun when needed.
Being in Year 5 in a high attainment school, we have many children who take part in the Kent test so not only do I have experience in the preparation for the test but also what the test encompasses and how to help the children to be calm and ready for a real life test at a young age.

Joanna was an excellent help to my son during the time she tutored him. It wasn’t easy doing lesson over the computer during the pandemic but she was great and my son loved there lessons together as she made it so fun for him, and with her help and his hard work he put in he smashed the local grammar test and the Kent test with really high scores

Joanna is an approachable, kind and patient teacher. Her lessons are clear and concise and my granddaughter really enjoyed them. She was always reliable and punctual and kept to what she had agreed to. We only used her for a short while due to a change in circumstances but she really made a difference. My only regret is we didn`t find her earlier. If you are looking for help with any primary school age child I would highly recommend her. We used her for Kent test support but she would be ideal for any other support needed.
