I tutor individuals of any ability, including students/pupils with complex or special needs as well as high academic achievers.
My approach to study is four-fold.
1-Motivating students by empowering them to enjoy their courses and study well independently
2-Developing learning and revision strategies which are tailored to each individual`s ability, preference and learning style
3-Preparing students for assessment by understanding exam and essay technique
4-Allowing a deeper understanding of the subject matter to develop by going off syllabus often and talking about the subject`s relevance
The methods I use are mostly evidence based techniques which come from scientific psychological literature.

I am also a Co-opted Member of Swindon`s SACRE, a council board which works to provide materials, support and a local syllabus for Religious Education lessons within the borough.
I was awarded the Denys-Holland Scholarship at UCL, and as such am willing to tutor high achievers who may be applying to prestigious educational programs of study and who may want further advice.
