I am an organised, passionate and creative primary school teacher with a background in environmental education prior to becoming a teacher.
Availability: I am available evenings Mon-Fri from 5pm.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I am a qualified teacher, with a PGCE and a Masters in Anthropology. I have experienced teaching in inner London schools in both KS1 and KS2. I am very familiar with the KS1 and KS2 national assessments and have delivered and been externally moderated for KS1 SATs.
My degree is in English and French. I have an A-level in Maths (B) and have a Masters in Anthropology. I am also trained in horticulture and have endeavoured to adapt my teaching, and particularly science to a hands-on approach where possible.
I am a passionate and dedicated educator and love my job. I like to make the most of small groups and working 1:1 with children by adapting teaching to their individual needs and making the learning as exciting as possible! If there is an opportunity to relate whatever we are learning to every day life scenarios or specific children`s interests, I will.
I have found that confidence can be one of the biggest barriers to learning and I have found that firm but caring and encouraging approach can really support children along their learning trajectory.
