Imagination, initiative and organisation are skills which I believe are important to successful teaching. These are core skills to help children develop their confidence and ability, both academically and socially. I am confident that my experience and teaching skills will develop the understanding of subject knowledge that is needed in the examination.

In my lessons, I promote critical thinking, questioning skills and the incorporation of mathematics in real life and real world. The student are engaged was very motivated. I have successfully improved results for my groups. I ensure that my students’ learning is effective and personalised by giving them various examples and explanations.

During Lockdown, I delivered Remote learning live lessons on Teams to engage my students’ learning and make sure that they are in line with the scheme of work. I monitor their progress through assessments. I provide tailored gap task to develop and prepare the students for their examination as well as explore concepts in real life.

I have more than 10 years of experience to teach students of different ages and abilities in school. I find this work particularly rewarding because it allows me the time to really understand a student`s problems with their Maths or English and I can help them over come the barriers that prevent them from succeeding in Maths and English.

Availability: Monday- 5 pm to 6 pm

Saturday- 6 pm to 8 pm

Willing to travel: 5 miles
