I am a dedicated and student-centred tutor with over a decade of experience helping young learners achieve their academic goals. Since 2013, I have had the privilege of guiding students through crucial educational milestones, including SATs, 11+, ISEB, GCSE, Functional Skills and Life in the UK examinations. My approach is built on creating a tailored, one-to-one learning environment where students feel confident, supported, and motivated to succeed.

I hold a Level 5 Diploma in TEFL and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and I have worked extensively across mainstream, special educational needs (SEN), and international school settings. This diverse background has equipped me with a deep understanding of how children learn. I excel at breaking down complex concepts—whether in English, Maths, or Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning—into manageable steps, adapting my methods to suit each child`s unique learning style and pace. I provide weekly progress updates to parents to ensure we are always working in partnership towards your child`s success.

Beyond my private tutoring, my classroom experience as an English Instructor and SEN Teacher has sharpened my ability to engage students of all abilities, including those with ASC, SEMH, and SLCN. This means I bring a wealth of inclusive strategies and a patient, encouraging approach to every session. Whether your child needs support building foundational skills, preparing for a specific exam, or simply gaining the confidence to excel in the classroom, I am here to provide expert, compassionate, and results-driven guidance.

I have also worked at a special needs school where I taught Functional Skills so I have experience teaching students with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance, dyslexia and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) in classrooms, online and 1-to-1 environments.

PRICES START FROM £35 an hour for one-to-one lessons. ACTUAL PRICE WILL DEPEND ON YOUR LOCATION.

For group lessons, the price is £25 per person for an hour and thirty minutes. There are only 5 children per class so your child is guaranteed maximum attention. We keep the numbers for group lessons low so we do not compromise on quality.

Availability: Week-day evenings and week-ends. I can also organise group lessons at any level , with a maximum of 5 pupils.

Monthly payments are required in advance.

Experience: I have over ten years of experience in tutoring Maths and English from primary to KS3, 11 Plus and Functional Skills. I also have experience teaching adult literacy and English as a Foreign Language (EFL). I have experience teaching English in mainstream schools and run my own private tuition business, offering 1-2-1 tuition online and in clients` homes. I prepare pupils for 11+ entrance exams, Adult Literacy for Visa and Immigration purposes and SATs.

I am a qualified proof-reader. I provide academic proofreading services for your assignments and dissertations. As a PhD holder, I can support you with writing your research proposal.
