Calling all parents who are looking to get some extra support to help their child/children reach their full potential!

I`m Shivana, I am a 4th year medical student at UCL. I’m now 21 years old and I completed my GCSEs and A levels at The Latymer School. I am based in Totteridge and am very happy to tutor from home, teaching students aged from 4/5 all the way to those sitting GCSEs. I will be able to teach those undertaking GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Drama (written + practical elements) or French. I achieved 8 level 9`s and 2 level 8`s at GCSE level (equivalent to 10 A*s), as well as an A in AS French last year. My A level results were an A* in Maths, an A in Biology and an A in Chemistry.

I also tutor future medics with personal statements/BMAT and interview prep.

I am very happy to teach music to younger children who are keen to start learning the Piano and/or Clarinet. I achieved distinctions in grade 7 Piano and grade 8 Clarinet. Throughout all my years at Latymer, I was in the Symphony Orchestra, Clarinet ensemble and Senior choir, demonstrating my passion for music. I would love to help others reach their full potential, making lessons fun and enjoyable yet also passing on all the tips/tricks I have learnt across the years.

Experience: I have a vast array of tutoring experience from those aged 4 to those aged 20. I enjoy working with those of all ages and have proven success in my methods by achieving results; that being helping my students get into schools or universities they wish to go to or helping them fulfil their potentials and achieve the best exam grades!

I have worked with many tutoring agencies in the past and have therefore encountered many different types of students; I believe every student is different and hence a tailored, personalised approach is key.

I was a mentor for students lower down the school whilst in sixth form at Latymer and I also have experience teaching younger children drama at my theatre school too. I recognise the importance of tailoring my teaching style to each individual student depending on their needs.
