I am a friendly, professional and highly engaging teacher with an established track record of substantially improving student`s exam performance and final grade. I am passionate about making learning enjoyable, as well as intellectually stimulating and thought provoking. Guiding students to unlock their full potential and achieve the results they are capable of is my primary focus. My approach is to help students discover their passion for a subject, while also coaching them to perform highly through instilling in-depth subject understanding, and honing their examination technique. I look to provide both in-depth knowledge as well as personal motivation and coaching in an enjoyable, stimulating and stress-free environment.

Experience: I have been passionate about tutoring in the humanities for over 15 years, providing professional, in-depth and exam-focused tuition across all exam boards in Philosophy, Religious Studies, Sociology and Psychology. I have a degree in the humanities in Philosophy from King`s College London, a postgraduate degree in Law (Graduate Diploma in Law) from BPP University Law School and the LPC (Legal Practice Course) professional qualification in Law from BPP University. I also have a certificate level CIMA accounting qualification and am a certified application associate in SAP Financials (FI) accounting. I am currently also undertaking a postgraduate diploma (PGDip) in integrative counselling and coaching.

I am also a highly experienced life and productivity coach. I cover all areas of life transformation in-depth including making life changes, actualizing your potential, planning and goal setting, overcoming procrastination, meditation and mindfulness practices. Specific areas I have experience in also include depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, social anxiety, and low self esteem (please note that I am not a certified therapist, but do provide coaching and help in these areas).

Professional and in-depth career coaching is a key service I offer. I have worked as a recruitment lead at one of the Big 4 auditing and management consultancy firms for 11 years. I cover all aspects including: finding your ideal career, career change at any age, work-life balance, dealing with conflict at work, dealing with anxiety at work, all aspects of the recruitment process including interview coaching and mock-interview practice, in-depth CV and covering letter review and coaching. I am highly experienced in graduate recruitment and helping you find your first job after university or A-levels as well.

For those interested in learning self defence and martial arts, I run a separate Martial Arts organisation (Martial Paths), teaching in London and Sutton every week I can provide group or one-to-one expert teaching on all aspects of martial arts and self defence. I have 19 years of experience, am a full instructor and black belt in Karate and Kobudo, as well as a full instructor in Bruce Lee`s Jeet Kune Do covering a host of different arts including: boxing, muay thai, wing chun, savate, MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Filipino Martial Arts (Panantukan, Pananjukman, Escrima, Kali and Arnis).

In addition to my passion for helping students achieve their potential through tutoring, I have worked for 11 years as a senior management consultant and project manager for one of the Big Four professional services and accounting firms, with a special focus on project management, business improvement, process optimization and financial services. I was also a graduate recruitment lead and careers and productivity coach at the Big Four.
