I`ve been a teacher and tutor for over 30 years and feel I`m just about getting the hang of it now. In addition to teaching content, I focus particularly on trying to change how my students learn, aiming to provide them with the kind of education and encouragement I would want for my own children. Not that I actually do provide that for my own children, of course; I’ll be looking for some other sucker to tutor those little monkeys. I specialise in maths and physics but also run sessions on essay writing (which concentrate on improving grammar, punctuation and structure).
