I am a university graduate with over 30 years’ experience at a senior level within the IT industry. I have been fortunate enough to take early retirement from corporate life and can now provide 1-1 tuition to your loved ones to help them pass their 11 plus exams.

Coming from an academic and IT orientated background, I have a natural bias towards mathematics, logic and reasoning.

As a tutor, I am calm, methodical and patient. I try to make lessons fun and enjoyable, treating each student as an individual, listening and guiding them through their areas of concern so they have confidence when sitting the exams.

As well as teaching the student to answer the many varied types of questions that may appear on the day of the exam, I will also teach examination techniques so they can answer quickly and within the allotted time.

Availability: I am available to teach mainly at weekends. However, I can make my self available some weekdays after school hours.

Experience: I have been tutoring for two years now and have successfully guided all my pupils to pass their 11+ and grammar school entrance exams.
