I have had over 9 years` experience as an 11 plus tutor. The syllabus having changed in 2016, I am glad to report that my candidates for this new test all did well.
I teach children from Year 5 at my home one to one or I will take two or three friends together.
I ensure that the basics, such as tables, are in place and only when the children are sure of the basics do I start putting the whole thing together in time tests. This helps to pinpoint areas of weakness and saves the boredom of repetition.
I am available throughout the summer holidays before the September tests.
I am a retired teacher of English and have worked in several local secondary schools.
I have recently received the Child Protection Company`s certificate.
I am DBS checked and insured. Testimonials from previous parents are available.

I charge £25 per hour and the 1st lesson is free.

Availability: After school on weekdays and Sunday afternoons.

Additional times will be available over the summer holidays.
