I enjoy tutoring and think that I am patient, encouraging and approachable.
I have collected a wide range of material ranging from when I was studying for the exams myself to resources I have obtained whilst tutoring. I have 20 years of tutoring and teaching experience from University lectures and tutorials and also working for a tutoring agency in addition to my private tutoring experience.

I work as a statistician so I am able to give examples of where a particular technique has been useful in a practical context.

I am happy to suggest areas and questions to work on but am equally happy to let the student ask questions and suggest the areas that they would like to revise.

I am happy to do extra or longer sessions close to the time of exams and can tutor at the home of the student or my own home.

Mathematics - National4, National5, Higher, Advanced Higher
Statistics - Advanced Higher
Applications of Mathematics - National5, Higher

Availability: Monday evening.
Tuesday evening.
Friday after school.
Available at the weekend too.
My preference is for face-to-face tutoring.
