Jasmin

I am a qualified teacher, with over 10 years of private tutoring experience. I currently teach in a school which is rated outstanding by OFSTED, and as a result aim to bring the same high standards of teaching to my private students.
I find it easy to build a good working relationship with my students, which has a positive impact on the progress we are able to make together. This is also aided by my ability to alter and adjust my teaching style according my students, meaning my lessons are completely tailored to them, leading them to grasp the material in more depth.
I specialise in helping students build their confidence and understand the basic principles of mathematics, as well as exam technique. I am also up to date in my understanding and working knowledge of the changes to the GCSE Mathematics curiculum.

Availability: Friday evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have over ten years of experience tutoring, as well as 3 years of teaching experience in schools, having completed my PGCE in secondary mathematics. Prior to this I have also worked as a teaching assistant, furthering my understanding of different teaching styles and how best to aid students who are struggling in the subject.
