Hi, I`m Sarah and I have always had a love for Maths and helping people build confidence in a subject that usually can make people worry and have a lot of self doubt. I am a fully qualified teacher who has been teaching for over 10 years and I have seen the difference that extra care and attention can make in a pupil`s ability and their self-belief. I hope to hear from you soon and I can put together a personalised plan that will break down existing barriers and help build you up to your full potential.

Availability: I am available for adult learners and home schooling sessions all day Monday and in the morning on Tuesday and Wednesdays. I am available after school from 3.40pm until 8pm most days and have some availability on weekends too.

Experience: I have been teaching for over 10 years, mainly in KS2 and have been Maths co-ordinator for over 5 years. I love teaching in the classroom but I realised that with just that extra bit of time and attention, that a teacher cannot give in the normal day to day runnings of school, a child that would usually struggle can thrive. Over the last 10 years I have taught lots of fantastic young people who have overcome fears, pushed through barriers and earned results they truly deserved. I started off with just helping a few friend`s children and since then have always tutored through recommendations from parents and student. I always say to parents and their children when we start, " I want them to enjoy our sessions and look forward to them not see it as extra work..." I take the time to find out how best my student learns and tailor the sessions so they have the feel like they are always achieving something, however small. I have also tutored 11plus, either booster sessions in the summer to or throughout the whole year.
