Experience: As a mum of two boys who have both been offered places in top selective secondary schools and as an experienced private tutor for a number of years now, I know the careful preparation needed to do well in a pressurised exam setting.
Further, having been a teaching assistant who supported children with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis, I know that no two students are the same and that lessons must be tailored to each student’s individual needs. Moreover, I strongly advocate a calm, patient and thorough approach to tutoring that involves cooperation with parents because only then, can the best results ultimately be achieved in entrance exams.
My qualifications include a BA in English Literature and Linguistics, a MA in Marketing, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. Before becoming a full time mum and then a teaching assistant, I had been an official press officer for over 20 years.

Jennifer is a very knowledgeable, organised and lovely tutor who goes above and beyond to make sure that my daughter understands each concept of her work and explains the work very thoroughbly. Jennifer is helping my daughter in preparation for the 11+ . My daughter is getting more confident and making good progress with her work because of Jennifer.
