Information about Patrick
I am a final year medical student at Imperial College London, currently living in Barons Court. A brief background into my education history is as follows, I completed my GCSEs in a local comprehensive school in Birmingham, and through hard work and persistence I was rewarded with 13 A* to A grades. This success granted me access into King Edward VI Camp Hill School, one of the top ten schools across the country. It was here that I completed my A-levels in Mathematics (A*), Chemistry (A), and Biology (A), which built the foundations for my application into medical school. I am a passionate teacher, and actually intend to specialise in medical education when I qualify. It is for these reasons that I believe I would make a significant and meaningful impact in your child`s or your own education.
For my personal experience in tutoring, please see below.
Availability: All day: Saturday-Sunday
Evenings: Monday-Friday
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: My experience in teaching or tutoring began during my GCSEs and followed through into my A levels, as I provided support with homework to younger years in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
Additionally I tutored a family friend in the 11+ examination paper, and alongside this provided support and mentoring for students with severe learning impairments.
While at university I have tutored younger years in the theory and clinical application of various topics. I also recently attended a week long course into teaching, which focused on the importance of interactive and targeted approaches in order to maximise learning.
