Alexander

Hello, my name`s Alexander and I work as full time tutor for primary school children, in Wirral, Merseyside. I have previously worked as a primary school teacher in Wallasey for 7 years, working across the age range in Key Stage Two. Working at Liscard Primary, one of the top 3% of schools in the country, I was graded by Ofsted as an Outstanding teacher. I have a 2:1 degree in History from the University of Liverpool and a PGCE (Primary) with QTS from the University of Chester, where I was also graded as Outstanding.

Over the last 7 years I have taught all age groups from age 5-11, and have experience of teaching up to level 6 in Maths and English, or Stage 6 in the new curriculum bands. I am an extremely patient and caring teacher and gain huge enjoyment in helping children to overcome challenges. I love seeing children enjoy their learning and seek to make learning a happy experience. All children I have taught make very good or outstanding progress.

In the last four years I have tutored a number of children to success in the 11+, Upton Hall and St Anselm’s entrance exams and am very proficient in this specialist area of tutoring.

Availability: Now I am working full time as a tutor I have greater availability to fit around parents, students and their busy schedules. Please get in touch and I will let you know my current availability to tutor you in your chosen subject.

Experience: I have worked for seven years as a primary school teacher at Liscard Primary, in Wallasey. Prior to this I trained at St Bridgets Primary in West Kirby.

I have worked as a year leader in Year Five, as well as working in Year Three, Four and Six.

After deciding to move into tutoring full time, four years ago, I have tutored over a hundred children on the Wirral in maths, english and eleven plus with great success.
