Experience: I`ve spent most of my working life in Eastern Africa where I helped people improve their access to clean water and better food. I first became interested in teaching English as a second language in Eastern Sudan where I was supported by British council and two TEFL teachers to run a course for senior government managers. Holding meetings directly in English with EU development managers without translators transformed their communications and helped to secure a large development contract.
It was then that I realised the power of language training.
Now I am back in UK I have completed a TEFL level 5 certificate and am excited to be teaching English full time.
So I`m looking for students who want to go on a language adventure on line -Adult learners or higher teens- that live close to me in Oxford or far away, anywhere on the planet.
