Hi, my name is Anam.

From being asked by my teachers to support my classmates in secondary school to helping my siblings with their school work, I have been helping students for a very long time! I was requested to tutor a fellow student whilst in sixth form, and volunteered with MathsPlus at university, working with local GCSE students on a weekly basis. I also tutored privately for a year once I graduated, working with GCSE and A Level students in Mathematics and Chemistry respectively.

Through my maths degree at the University of Oxford and my ACCA professional qualification, I`ve been a student with a lot of different mathematics teachers and tutors, and hope to bring my experiences from both sides of the table to helping others.

I`m always focussed on developing a personalised approach, working regularly with the same student in order to build a rapport, develop a work plan, and track progress. I have also always put in the extra work to prepare in advance, drawing on various school and online resources to increase the effectiveness of our time together.

Availability: I am generally available on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Wednesday and Friday afternoons (after 3pm), however please see below for more details.

Experience: BA(Hons) in Mathematics from University of Oxford, multiple years of tutoring in a voluntary and paid capacity.
