My greatest passion in life is teaching. As a young adult I experienced great success at school and university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping my students succeed, whatever their abilities may be.

Experience: I previously worked as a Forensic Scientist but retrained as a teacher. Currently I teach GCSE and Sixth Form Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Forensics. I was exceptionally honoured recently when I was nominated for the Pearson national award `Teacher of the Year` by my students. I have been tutoring and teaching for 4 years in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring alongside my full time position. I believe that building a rapport with my students is the key to successfully engaging them and ensuring they excel when delivering individually tailored sessions. I travel up to 10 miles generally but am willing to consider further for block bookings and I am also happy for the sessions to take place in my home if appropriate.
