I have been teaching Science for over 28 years and gained my PGCE at Leicester University in 1992. I have an honours degree in Applied Biology and also a qualification in Teaching English as a Second Language.

Availability: I am currently teaching all students via Zoom, and am available most evenings, during the school day and at weekends.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have taught all the sciences up to grade 9 at GCSE, including working in one of the top grammar schools in the country. I have also taught A level Biology to year 12 and 13 students, from many different exam boards, both online and in schools. I have been a Head of Science and have helped to train many PGCE students in the past. The students I have taught have come from varied backgrounds and I have experience of working with students who have SEND, such as dyslexia, ADHD, mental health concerns and physical challenges such as visual or hearing impairments.
