I am deputy head of science at a secondary school in north London. My specialism is chemistry but can tutor chemistry and biology up to GCSE.
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher and will work hard with you to ensure you achieve (or exceed!) the grade that you want.
Availability: Available to tutor online in evenings and on weekends.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been teaching GCSE Chemistry and A Level Chemistry and Psychology for 15 years. I used to be head of chemistry so am very familiar with exam technique.

Solene is a friendly and helpful tutor who helped ensure my son get the best possible grades ( all Science subjects grade 9) he could get. The use of practise papers and verbal feedback on exam technique allowed him to go into each exam feeling confident. Overall , very happy with the support and he is grateful.

Solene is an excellent tutor, she is up to date on the current exam procedures, prepares well and is a superb communicator.
She is passionate about her work, her enthusiasm rubs off on her pupils.
My daughter was struggling with her chemistry and biology leading up to her GCSEs, she attained a level 6 in her mocks, she was disappointed and had lost her confidence.
After three months tuition, my daughter attained a level 9 in both subjects!!

Solene tutored my daughter for 6 months for her GCSE chemistry. She really enjoyed the sessions as Solene made them interesting and was very good at explaining things. She worked through so many practice questions to give her confidence. She has just got her results, an 8 (was predicted a 6). Thank you Solene
