Information about Amy
I currently work as a senior psychological Wellbeing practitioner trained in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, having qualified with a first class Degree in Psychology from the University of Exeter and a Postgraduate in therapy from UCL. I have experience in tutoring a wide range of ages from 5 up to 21 years in a range of different capacities. I have helped under-achieving students who are struggling with concentration and high-achieving students wishing to push themselves further. I`m hardworking, diligent and patient with others. As a therapist I have a sensitive nature but do also appreciate the importance of dedication to work. I`m extremely organised and as a manager to a large team, I have to constantly incorporate innovative, creative and fresh ways of working to motivate and inspire my team in their day-to-day work.
I am a very approachable and calm person with an understanding of the difficulties that students face in juggling multiple exams and subjects and can sympathise and support them with this as well as assisting with stress management.
Availability: I am currently very flexible in my availability and will work around your needs.

Experience: I have 10 A* GCSE`s and 5 A GCSE grades.
I have 3 A`s in A level (Psychology, Sociology, English Literature and Language)
I have a first class Psychology degree with Honours from the University of Exeter and a postgraduate diploma from UCL in Low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy.
I have worked as an assistant psychologist for the mental health charity MIND doing data analysis and mentoring large groups of individuals through therapy programs. I supervised first year university students through their psychology degrees to assist them with their choices following completion of university.
I have mentored underachieving A level students from low socio-economic backgrounds over the period of a year to support them in achieving results needed for university. This was as a realising opportunities mentor.
I work as a senior psychological wellbeing practitioner, delivering therapeutic interventions based on cognitive behavioural therapy to those experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, insomnia, chronic stress and perfectionism. I manage of team of practitioners, supporting them emotionally and supporting the management of the service.
