I’m an enthusiastic and bubbly teacher who wants to help and support students.

I have a keen passion for Film, Media and English and will make learning fun and relevant in order for you to excel and reach your goals.

I can tutor both online and 1:1 in the following areas: coursework, how to write your essays, exam prep, and general subject knowledge.

Availability: Monday - Thursday 2pm until 8pm (7pm being the last bookable slot)

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: That light bulb moment when a student understands something, they were unfamiliar with is why I love this job. I make lessons fun and engaging so students feel at ease when tackling difficult subjects like Shakespeare or Dickens.

In 2018 I gained my PGCE qualification and have worked in 3 different schools in the English/Media departments teaching GCSE, A Levels and BTEC. I have worked with students aged 11 – 18 and helped them achieve their goals, build their confidence and engage with the subject. In our first session an initial chat will take place to establish subject, exam board and what areas you are struggling with; from there a plan can be formed. In the following sessions I can help with exam prep, coursework and homework assignments and give you support and confidence.

I do not believe in silly questions – if it’s something you’re struggling with I’d like to help. My sessions will always be relaxed but I will keep you on your toes with questions to challenge you. I’ll actively encourage you to do wider reading, and engage with your subject to help with understanding and confidence.
