I am an experienced Physics teacher (previously Head of Science and Head of Physics and Lead Practitioner) with 17 years experience teaching A-level and GCSE Physics. I teach at a Grammar school in Merseyside, and also work part-time for the Education Endowment Foundation, helping make educational research accessible and useful to teachers.

I am approachable and honest; my strengths lie in explaining difficult, abstract concepts in a way that is accessible to the pupil. I am well studied and experienced in utilising strategies that maximise pupil learning. I will look to collaborate with the tutees classroom teachers when possible, so that the tutoring sessions help consolidate and build on what is learnt in class.
