I have tutored maths for over 10 years, across all 5 key stages and of a range of abilities. I have also taught KS3-KS5 in secondary schools. My qualifications are as follows: Maths GradC (2018), Maths PGCE (2017), Pharmacy MPharm (2015), Maths A level (2010), Maths GCSE (2008). I have always achieved top grades in maths and my strength is being able to explain maths in a simple way that’s easy to understand.

In my tutoring programme, I build pupil’s knowledge progressively and then focus on problem solving questions. As a qualified teacher, you can be assured that my tutoring lessons will be well planned and I will do my best to maximise progress. I make maths easy to understand and you will make good progress over time. I use a Surface Book and write on the screen for smooth online tutoring. I am always open to take on new students.

For GCSE, I have planned 300 maths lessons to cover the full curriculum and for A level I have fully planned over half of the curriculum (25 of 45 chapters). My lessons are effectively planned to build understanding of the content progressively and incorporates a high degree of problem-solving to ensure you are able to tackle exam questions. For A level, please check if I have the chapters ready a week in advance, can take 3 hours to plan a new chapter.

Home tuition is available at the following times: Mon 5:15pm, Tue 5:15pm, Sat 9am, 2pm. For home tuition, I charge a fixed 0.5 hour travel time.

Online tuition is available at the following times: Wed 7:30pm, Thu 8:30pm, Sun 12noon, 4:45pm. Intensive courses now available (see below).
