I am a dynamic, innovative teacher with a passion to make learning truly memorable and enjoyable. With over twenty years’ teaching experience, including roles as Assistant Head and Key Stage 2 Leader, I have a clear understanding of how to inspire and motivate children. I believe in creating an environment in which children feel safe to ask questions and learn from their mistakes.
I have an in-depth knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and of how to prepare children, and indeed parents, for the 11 Plus Test. I am extremely passionate about bringing learning to life through a range of teaching strategies.
I have always been rated as an ‘Outstanding’ teacher in Ofsted Inspections and internal observations.
Run from my home in Dinton, I am now taking bookings for classes starting in September 2019. Classes run on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
My classes for Year 5 children focus on preparation for the 11 Plus exam, unless agreed otherwise. Classes for Year 4 classes provide the children with strong foundations in Maths and English.
