Information about Leena
Qualified English Language and Psychology Teacher. I have experience teaching GCSE English Language and GCSE Psychology to young people, as well as Functional Skills English to adult learners. I gained my PGCE qualification from University College London in 2018 and I graduated with a First Class Honours in English Language and Psychology from Aston University in 2015.
I use a nurturing and humanistic approach in my teaching sessions, where I centre my lessons around the students` individual needs, personal interests and goals. I believe that every student is unique and has the ability to reach their full potential.
I currently work as an Educational Psychologist in Scotland, where I work alongside Headteachers and classroom teachers to help meet learners` additional supports needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.). I am able to bring this skillset to my tutoring practice.
Availability: Available in the evenings during weekdays and in the mornings during weekends.
