Sullivan

I am a French-American Artist & Researcher interested in exploring creative embodied approaches to healing. I grew up across France, Japan and Brazil, but have also lived in Belgium and England. As the son of an Olympic athlete and a Drama teacher, I have explored a variety of sports (such as triathlon, parkour, Muay Thai, football, etc) and a plethora of creative practices (including animation, sculpting, painting, music, etc). As an international trilingual creator, I am passionate about helping others find the mediums that resonate most to promote self expression, personal and collective growth, and confidence building.

Experience: General:
- I am fluent in English, French and Portuguese.
- My athletic interests include rock climbing, parkour, football and Muay Thai.

Education:
- My primary and secondary studies spanned across France, Japan, and Brazil. I completed high school education with an International Baccalaureate Diploma and both the American and Brazilian diplomas, specializing in English Literature, Portuguese and Visual Arts.
- I have a BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre Arts (First Class Honours) from the University of Birmingham and a MASc in Creative Health from University College London (awaiting award).
- I have participated in two summer courses on acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Professional:
- I volunteered in Brazil for 5 years as a teaching assistant working with children (3 to 12 years)
- I worked as a professional actor, theatre designer and stage manager, and participated in several international theatre festivals including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies, starting at the age of 13.
- I write, perform, produce, and release music as a freelance singer/songwriter with over a dozen professional musical credits. I can play guitar, ukulele, bass, basic drums and sing.
- I have been working as an artist & researcher at Traumascapes since February 2022, where I have worked on numerous projects including events, workshops, artistic outputs, research and therapeutic embodied approaches to healing.
