I am an experienced and dedicated tutor offering sessions in English Literature, History, Essay Writing, and University Admissions.

I am a first class graduate of the University of Oxford, where I studied History and English under world experts in both subjects, including Professors Emma Smith, Steven Gunn, and Vincent Gillespie.

I strive to create a learning environment that inspires, stretches, and builds on my students’ individual interests and aspirations. I set out to share with them the passion for the humanities and the love of lifelong learning that I have been fortunate to receive from the best of those who have taught me.

Experience: I trained and worked as a full time English teacher at Zhuoyue English College in Guilin, China. During my time there, I taught Business English (including writing and public speaking skills) to an advanced class of professionals from across China. I also taught English language to two intermediate level classes of children aged 10-12 and 12-14.
