Experience: I have taught History and Greek language in exemplary schools both in Greece and in Scotland. I have also tutored students from primary and secondary schools, offering assistance with homework and exam preparation across various exam boards including SQA, AQA, and Edexcel.
Furthermore, I have taken part as a volunteer in afterschool clubs in Glasgow where I was helping students from primary schools with their homework as a tutor. In the period of lockdown, I was also working online, mainly through zoom, tutoring adults who are learning Greek.
My professional experience as a tutor provided me with the chance to experiment with a variety of methods to help students to overcome the barriers of difficulties, such as play activities, language formation through extra-curricular books and use of technology. I had the chance to help students with behavioural problems and learning difficulties and learnt how communication is the key to the construction of trust and that as soon as trust is established, school becomes a safer and more productive environment.
Finally, working in a school gives me the opportunity to be practically and actively engaged with the syllabus and the learning of the students and fills me with everyday and valuable experience in terms of behavioural management and different learning approaches.

Eleni Anna is a well educated and experienced teacher. She caters her lessons to the needs of the learner and wants her student to succeed. She uses multiple styles of teaching such as audio, conversations, fun activities, and more, to help the learner achieve. You will see that she is passionate about teaching which helps the learning process! I am overall very pleased with my lessons so far and I would recommend Eleni Anna to anyone who is looking to learn Greek or improve their current Greek.

Eleni Anna is a great tutor and so far has given my daughter a great boost of confidence. She`s very friendly and warming, it`s impossible to feel uncomfortable in her lessons. Eleni gives detailed feedback on homework, providing tips and model answers on how to achieve top grades in History. At the beginning of each class, she asks my daughter couple questions to recap last weeks information, giving a fresh and straightforward start to the lesson. My daughter always looks forward to her sessions with Eleni and we are so glad we found a great tutor for IGCSE History.

Eleni Anna is a great teacher and flexible native Greek tutor. I was particularly interested in her work with children with ADD. She has helped me to form a creative lesson structure that suits my learning methods and my schedule, as well as recommending her own tried and tested techniques as a teacher. Eleni has been absolutely excellent from the 1st lesson. She has made the lessons fun and exciting yet keeping my kids engaged in her lesson to the point they actually look forward to the next lesson. Well structured, well organized and my children are learning to speak Greek very well. Very good tutor very highly recommended.
