With 18 years of teaching experience, a PhD in Mathematics, and an excellence in teaching certificate, I can help your child fill in their learning gaps and boost their confidence to reach and exceed their target grades. I`ll create a series of lessons tailored to your child`s needs. Please note that I do not offer online-only lessons; I firmly believe that students benefit more from in-person or hybrid lessons where meaningful face-to-face interactions foster a deeper and more engaging learning experience.


What to expect in the introductory session:


1. Introduction of Qualifications: I will share copies of my qualifications and certificates with you. This will provide insight into my background and teaching credentials.

2. Discussion of Teaching Style (10-20 min): I will take the time to elaborate on my teaching approach. This will help you understand the methods I use to facilitate learning.

3. Brief Sample Lesson (40-50 min): We will engage in a short introductory lesson. This lesson will be spontaneous and has a two-fold purpose. Firstly, it will allow you to gauge my teaching style and determine if it aligns with your expectations. Secondly, I will assess your child`s strengths, which will aid in planning potential future lessons.

4. Decision Point: Following the initial meeting, I encourage both you and your child to have a conversation and mutually decide whether to continue with our lessons. I am committed to working with students who are enthusiastic about learning and where there is a positive tutor-tutee match.
