I am an aspiring young medic, with years of experience in the education sector for the last 12 years ranging from Primary to Secondary school teacher posts based in London. Coupled with 12 years of private tutoring from Primary, Secondary, A-level to Science-based degree students. Filled with passion for teaching and aiding students to reach their potential. Learning made simple. Tried and tested methods, guarantee student progress from any starting ability.

I am very happy to assist with University applications, personal statements and BMAT & UKCAT medical entrance exams, as well as any other academic requirements. I have had great students over the years who have excelled into various academic fields such as engineering, medicine, pharmacy, teaching, law, Computing and finance. I am known to inculcate a learning culture and ambition in my students.

What I enjoy the most is getting to know each tutee individually, and finding which areas they are particularly struggling with or lack motivation in. I then try and build a tailored tutoring approach that engages that student with the learning material, develop techniques that will help reinforce core knowledge, improve exam techniques and enhance a spectrum of essential skills to flourish in their desired sector.

Experience: Alongside being a teacher, I am also a Medical Student with a lot of teaching experience in schools and private tuition for the past 12 years. I have tutored one to one sessions, small to large groups, overlooked and ran science practicals and previously held management positions at two successful Ofsted registered tuition centres. I have been part of several successful teams of teachers/ tutors who have shared my passion and determination in helping our students realise their dream careers. After years of tutoring I am now establishing my very own tutoring institute (MLS - My Learning Space) with a team of enthusiatic and experienced teachers & tutors I have had the great pleasure of working with over the years and shared great success stories. We share the same vision in inculcating a growth mindset into our students as well as catering for their educational needs, no matter the starting ability or time frame to exams. At My Learning Space (MLS), our teaching style offers a versatile yet student-centred approach which focuses on students` needs and capabilities. We set clear targets for our students and bite-size daunting concepts, followed by outlining the strategies to help each student achieve their intended goal. At MLS we teach in accordance to specifications utilising a broad range of resources including course notes, past papers and model answers. Personally, I have had great successes as a tutor/mentor and am extremely passionate and dedicated to teaching. It is a pleasure seeing the development of each of my students and the road together is always challenging but fruitful.

MLS is private tuition with a personal touch. We also develop a home study plan for our students, parents` involvement encouraged. We also work closely with your child`s school and offer tailored support in helping students progress at school.
