Hello! I’m Mathew, a Science and Maths tutor in Colchester who enjoys helping students of all types at different levels; most commonly GCSE and A level, but have tutored from KS1 to degree. My competency stems from my degree in Chemical Engineering and I have worked in science and engineering based roles since graduation. I did 4 A-Levels in Maths, Chemistry, Economics and Geology. I like to understand areas the students need to focus and tailor my approach for what they need. This may range from giving them a broad and introductory understanding of a topic to detailing exam technique.
Availability: I`m happy to travel within Colchester and surrounding areas (restrictions respecting) whilst also being available online. I am available weekdays after after 5pm (Friday 4pm) and weekends.

Experience: I started tutoring 4 years ago as a productive way to help those in need of reaching important grades and passing life changing qualifications. I have tutored from KS2 up to degree level in Maths, Chemistry and Physics, including combined sciences GCSE. As someone who works in industry I also like to share with students where things can be relevant in the future!
