Information about Richard
I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE from Staffordshire University. I also have a current DBS certificate and references if required. I also have a BA honours degree from Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design, London. Prior to this I attended Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and Marlborough College, Wiltshire.
I have successfully tutored students for 11 plus and scholarship entrance exams in English, maths, verbal reasoning and non verbal reasoning as well as SATS preparation. I have 4 young children of my own and am experienced in making the sessions interesting and enjoyable. I also have taught art in schools up to A-Level and have helped students increase their grades and obtain art scholarships.
Availability: Weekdays, evenings, weekends
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: Teaching in primary and secondary schools from ages 5 to 18. Private tuition in preparation for entrance exams to Grammar schools and success in scholarship applications. I also have extensive experience teaching art at all levels.
