My method in tutoring is to not just teach students, but to give them the confidence and skills to be able to succeed in their own studies. I studied philosophy at the University of Durham in the United Kingdom, and after graduating top of my class with a first-class degree I am starting the BPhil at the University of Oxford this year. I have a broad range interests and the transferable skill set I acquired in my philosophy studies - problem solving, critical reasoning, persuasive argumentation - allows me to be useful tutor in a range of topics.

Experience: I have several years of experience in tutoring philosophy at a university level. Most of my tutoring revolved around aiding students in understanding difficult content and essay writing skills.

I graduated from the University of Durham with a first-class degree and received an award for achieving the highest marks in my year. During my time at Durham I was also awarded the Laidlaw Scholarship in Research and Leadership, a prestigious scholarship that entailed working on a research project across two years. I have also served as a research assistant to the In Parenthesis research project and presented at several conferences.
