Information about Emmie
I am an friendly, enthusiastic and committed teacher currently working in year 4. I have worked in Education for 8 years and I am passionate about my job. I love teaching and enjoy inspiring my students to love and fully embrace their learning. I work extremely hard to make learning accessible to my students and support them on their learning journey as well as improve their confidence and independence.
I am available to support your child in all aspects of their learning, across the curriculum. I will work hard to ensure steady progress and provide challenge to extend your child`s learning.
Availability: - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after school/evening.
- Saturday morning.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: I have experienced a very interesting Education, which I am incredibly proud of.
I have extensive experience working in Social Care having completed my A-Level Equivalent in Health and Social Care, where I undertook work experience in a school (Nursery and Year 2) supporting main stream hearing impaired and Autistic children. I then continued to complete my undergraduate degree in Social Work.
Following this, I decided that I wanted to do what I have always loved and aspired to do: I undertook my teacher training after working as a TA and LSA (1-2-1 with an Autistic girl) at an Outstanding Catholic Primary School. My experience in Education has enabled me to gain experience in EYFS, KS1 (1 and 2) and KS2 (3, 4, 5 and 6) and I currently hold a teaching position in year 4. My teacher training enabled me to gain an insight into SEN through visits to different SEN units.

Emmie has just start with our family over this month and already the confidence she has instilled in my daughter is evident. She is fun but firm and I see the results. Highly recommend.
