Information about Monika
I give lessons, that combine violin practice, music theory and correct physical approach to playing. My goal is to teach my students to use the body correctly when playing the violin. I do this using Alexander technique, which teaches you approaches to playing the violin which reduce strain on the body and avoid injuries. This ensures your violin playing is more comfortable and therefore more enjoyable. I use Kodaly method which improves your understanding of music and your sight-reading skills. The Kodaly method is a well-established approach which combines music theory and practice to prove a rounded musical education. Music theory is taught in practical terms using the pieces being studied.

Experience: I hold a degree in violin teaching and chamber music. I have 4 years experience of teaching violin and I have taught up to grade VIII. Whilst teaching in Hungary I gave one-on-one lessons to children aged 6 to 16 in a specialist music school and in the UK I have taught adults privately.I have been performing since the age of 6 in Orchestras, Chamber Ensembles and as a soloist.
I am currently playing in the Bromley Symphony Orchestra which I joined in 2013 and where I was quickly prompted to principal second violinist in 2014.
