I am a medical student at UCL with substantial knowledge in mathematics, biology and chemistry. As a dedicated, hard working and patient tutor, I am eager to share my interest in these subjects with my students. I aim to encourage students to approach their studies in more engaging ways through student-centered teaching and help develop both their strengths and weaknesses.

Having more recent experience with the GCSE and A-level curriculum means that I am familiar with the examination requirements. Also, my experiences as a tutor, detailed below, have taught me how to adapt my teaching to best help my students reach their full potential.

Availability: I only provide online tutoring. My availability is 6-9pm on weekdays and 10-12 on Saturdays.

Experience: Over the past 6 years I have had experience tutoring a range of students. I started tutoring in secondary school where I helped lower years with mathematics and reading. These were often one-to-one sessions where I helped students with reading difficulties. We would read the assigned texts from English lessons or work through mathematical problems together, finding ways to increase their academic independence and enjoyment. This experience taught me patience and developed my ability to adapt lessons to best suit each student. Later on, in sixth form, I started tutoring students in mathematics, biology and chemistry at GCSE level. I helped students with better understanding their weaker topics, practising exam question techniques and encouraging them to challenge themselves.

Having taken GCSEs, A-levels and medical university exams, I can relate to how students may feel when they are struggling with certain topics or subjects. I hope to create a friendly environment for my students to thrive and feel comfortable asking questions.
