I have recently graduated with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Primary Education. I find that throughout my three year degree, I have acquired a wealth of skills and knowledge that I can transfer into my role as a tutor. Whenever I have had free time, I have tutored many children aged 7-13 in preparation for SATs and other school assessments.
I have a full clean UK driving licence and am willing to travel to you.
I have shown over the past three years that I can build positive and genuine relationships with colleagues and pupils and I believe that being aged 21, the children I have tutored in the past have felt comfortable around me and we have build a strong rapport.
Every lesson I have taught has been graded good or outstanding and I am always looking for ways to improve my practice to ensure the best possible outcome for every child and help them to reach and extend their potential.
During my time at Northumbria University, I was given the opportunity to specialise in a particular subject. My subject specialism is English and I have a sincere passion for teaching reading and writing skills to pupils of all ages. However, I am extremely confident when teaching any subject presented in the Primary National Curriculum.

Experience: As a tutor, I have had experience of tutoring several children aged 7-13 in all subjects of both the KS2 and KS3 National Curriculum. I have received positive feedback from all parents of whom`s children I have tutored. I have witnessed all children make significant progress in subjects they struggle in or perhaps have a negative opinion towards. I find that all the lessons I teach are meaningful and challenging to the children with an element of fun, to ensure engagement. This has proven to be successful with previous pupils.
As a Northumbria Graduate, I have a wealth of experience in a range of local non-faith and faith primary schools. During this, I have been able to teach whole class outstanding lessons as well as interventions . I am confident to teach all subjects and believe that I can extend every pupil`s learning by playing on their individual strengths and working with their unique learning style.
