Information about Hannah
I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor with a love of teaching and supporting children and young people. I am regularly referred to as "excellent" with regards to this. I have just achieved a 1st class degree in psychology from The University of Leeds and I have exceptionally high A-level and GCSE grades. Therefore, I am more than happy to tutor GCSE/A-level students with psychology or English Language, and primary or KS3 students with work of any subject. I will also gladly work with children or young people with additional needs or learning difficulties and I have a vast experience of this. I am currently undergoing rigorous teacher training with [contact detail removed]
Availability: I have availability throughout the summer holidays (except from 7th-19th August and 24th August). I will be stopping tutoring for good in September to become a full-time teacher and begin working towards achieving QTS and a PGDE. However, I will be continuing to offer high-quality lessons until this point.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have a wealth of experience supporting children and young people in schools, including those with special educational needs. Therefore, I am fantastic at adapting my communication to children of different ages and capabilities, and at finding alternative methods to aid a child or young person to understand. I thoroughly enjoy all the work I do with children in schools and I look forward to all my tutoring lessons.
I also have experience working with different members of the community through bar and waitressing work, as well as additional experience volunteering on the children`s ward at my local hospital and at a Leeds-based charity supporting children with cancer and their families.
As a result of all this I consider myself able to provide excellent tutoring to children and young people regardless of their age, needs, background, and circumstance.
